ITINERARY
Tamil-Nadu
Day 1: Trivandrum Arrival (15 KMS – ½ drive) Arrival at Trivandrum Airport and transfer to Hotel and get transferred to the pre-booked hotel in Kovalam by our representative. Check into the hotel and get refreshed. The rest of the day is free for you to explore at leisure. Once you are done exploring, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Trivandrum – Kovalam- Trivandrum After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Trivandrum – Trivandrum, is an ancient city with tradition dating back to 1000 BC. This capital city of Kerala is a beautiful seaside metropolis built on seven hills. It is located on the west coast of India spreading over a total of 2,192 sq.km. Sightseeing tour is comprehensive with the visits to Padmanabhaswami Temple, Srichitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum and Zoo. Overnight stay is arranged in Trivandrum
Day 3: Kovalam – Kanyakumari (90 KMS – 02 ½ Hours’ drive) After breakfast Check out from the hotel and Drive to Kanyakumari . En-route visit Padmanabhapuram Palace and Suchithram Temple, Proceed to Kanyakumari– visit Devi Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Rock, TriveniSangam and Gandhidham. Evening Driver Back to Poovar . Overnight stay in Kanyakumari.
Day 4: Kanyakumari – Rameshwaram (290 KMS – 06 Hours’ drive) After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Rameshwaram, Rameswaram is a town on Pamban Island, in the southeast Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s known for Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site with ornate corridors, huge sculpted pillars and sacred water tanks. Devotees bathe in the waters of Agni Theertham, off the beach east of the temple. Gandamadana Parvatham is a hill with island views. A chakra (wheel) here is said to bear an imprint of Lord Rama’s feet. Visit if time Permit Rameshwaram Temple ,Pamban Bridge,APJ Statue . Overnight stay in Rameshwaram.
Day 5: Rameshwaram After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Rameshwaram – visit Aganitheertham , Ramarpadham , Kothandaramaswamy temple , Ramanathswamy Temple, Thiruppullani is an Ancient Temple Agnitheertham, Ramjharoka Temple, Dhanushkodi (Optional) and Adam’s Bridge. Overnight stay in Rameshwaram
Day 6: Rameshwaram – Madurai (170 KMS – 03 Hours’ drive) After Breakfast check out from the hotel and Drive to Madurai . Madurai is an energetic, ancient city on the Vaigai River in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Its skyline is dominated by the 14 colorful gopurams (gateway towers) of Meenakshi Amman Temple. Covered in bright carvings of Hindu gods, the Dravidian-style temple is a major pilgrimage site.– visit Sri.Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple, Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Thirupparankundram Temple, Alagar Koil and Gandhi Museum. Overnight stay in Madurai.
Day 7: Madurai – Kodaikanal (120 KMS – 03 Hours drive) After Breakfast check out from the hotel and Drive to Kodaikinal. Kodaikanal is a hill town in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s set in an area of granite cliffs, forested valleys, lakes, waterfalls and grassy hills. At 2,000 meters above sea level, the town centers around man-made, star-shaped Kodaikanal Lake, bordered by evergreen forest . Visit -visit Kodai Lake, Coaker’s Walk, Bryant Park, Vattakanal Falls. Overnight stay in Kodaikinal.
Day 8: Kodaikanal After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Kodaikanal – visit Pillar Rocks and Kodaikanal Lake ,Dolphin Nose ,Green valley - Suicide Point ,Kurunji Temple is mainly dedicated to Lord Murugu Upper lake view Overnight stay in Kodaikanal.
Day 9: Kodaikanal – Coimbatore (175 KMS – 05 Hours drive) After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Coimbatore Airport for onward journey.
